Marie Costanza (Administrative Director, Adjunct Faculty Historian)
An alumni of the Tisch School of the Arts, Marie received her Ph.D. in Performance Studies in 1991, with an emphasis on opera history in general and the works of Gian Carlo Menotti in particular. A professional singer with experience in classical and operatic music, as well as musical theatre, she currently performs with an a’capella trio, The Salomone Trio, that specializeds in Early Music and Jewish Music. The Salomone Trio has performed at many venues throughout New York including Lincoln Center,Gracie Mansion and the 92nd Street Y. Their CD, “Sacred and Profane” was released in Fall 1998 and recently the trio has expanded to presenting an orginal theatre piece, “Uppity Women of the Middle Ages,” written by Marie Costanza. Marie has also directed both musical theatre works and the classics off-off Broadway and in the tri-state area. She has been a production coordinator for Off-Broadway, the Italian-Heritage Opera Theatre and for NYU’s Musical Theatre Hall of Fame.
Julianne Wick Davis (Administrative Coordinator)
Julianne is a recent graduate of Tisch's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU where she attended as a Composer/Lyricist. Most recently she wrote music for Wood, lyrics for The Chemist's Wife and Disorder: A Mother/Daughter Vaudeville (Barrington Stage Company). Her music and lyrics were both featured in Songs By Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricsits You Don't Know But Should (Barrington Stage Company) with William Finn. Julianne has also served as Musical Director for the Transport Group and Barrington Stage. She has written book, lyrics and music for eight children's musicals and has been commissioned to write incidental music, choral and string orchestra pieces. Having spent over twenty years in music education, Julianne was awarded grants to develop arts curriculum in public schools and has presented workshops at national teacher's conventions to promote an interdisciplinary approach to teaching the arts and humanities in primary and secondary classrooms.
Daniel Larsen (Administrative Assistant)
Danny is a graduate of NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Program where he studied as a composer/lyricist. Danny also holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in Music and Theatre Education from BrighamYoungUniversity. Danny has done an extensive amount of arranging, orchestration, and composing for various projects and is also a director, music director and performer. Danny and his collaborator, Michelle Elliott, received both the 2006 Richard Rodgers Development Award and a Daryl Roth Award for The Yellow Wood, their first collaboration together. He recently worked as the events coordinator and office assistant at the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. He also works as a teaching artist at various organizations in the city. His ultimate claim to fame, however, is when he became a certified propane pumper at the Chevron gas station in Ogden,Utah.
